Future Archive is a longitudinal conceptual index operated under the name Din Tanovic. Unlike a conventional archive, which preserves events after they have occurred, Future Archive records intentions, anticipated developments, and possible future states before they exist. Each project title functions as an encoded identifier. Its associated year indicates an estimated activation period and does not constitute a guarantee, commitment, prediction, or fixed deadline. Projects may be completed, delayed, reinterpreted, renamed, merged, suppressed, or remain dormant indefinitely. Dormant should not necessarily be interpreted as inactive. The archive is structured as a gradual transition. Early entries concern public creative output, digital experimentation, and the construction of a visible identity. Intermediate entries relate to physical space, personal transformation, recognition, and human connection. Later entries become increasingly private, intimate, and intentionally undefined. Public descriptions are limited by design. Missing information has not necessarily been omitted; in certain cases, it cannot yet be meaningfully documented from the present point in time. The precise classification of an entry may remain known only to its creator until sufficient conditions exist for disclosure. Future versions of Din Tanovic may assign meanings to these projects that differ from their original classifications. This does not invalidate the earlier record. A project may acquire its final meaning only after its estimated activation period has passed. The final listed project is titled “THE BEGINNING.” Its position at the chronological end of the archive is intentional. The designation establishes that the completion of the visible timeline does not represent an ending, but a transition into a new and presently undocumented phase. At that point, Din Tanovic may no longer remain the archive’s only subject. Uncertainty is therefore a functional component of the system. As time progresses, the projected archive may be compared with the life that was ultimately produced. Where sufficient correspondence is identified, an entry may be classified as active. Where the projected record and the lived outcome diverge, it may not be immediately apparent which of the two has changed. Future Archive should not be interpreted solely as a portfolio, roadmap, vision board, or list of objectives. It operates as a long-duration conceptual experiment in which intention, time, identity, privacy, and lived outcome remain subject to continuous revision. The archive does not claim to predict the future. It establishes a record against which the future will eventually be recognised.
